Since he's only 9 months old I made sure the ribbons were short enough he couldn't wrap them around his neck. so I cut 3 pieces of ribbon at 10", tied and wa la! he has his new favorite thing to shake. thanks for all your wonderful ideas! i liked this idea because my son LOVES anything that looks like wires, shoelaces, or straps.
