[…] Today we started our study of the letter “V”.Â It was nice to have all of my students here for the first time in a few weeks.Â Here are some of the highlights of our morning. We started our morning by reading the book Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin by Lloyd Moss.Â This book was full of rhymes and included ten instruments.Â We counted how many instruments were on each page which kept the children interested in the story. I did this today, she loved it and then we went outside to pick some flowers to put in a real vase!

Just popped in my head when I looked at the pic, but Violet are a flower and would work well with vase…
Also, I have seen the dot paints at WalMart every once in a while, usually early fall before school starts…
