cute! My 4 yr old class loved "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" when I read it to them this year…they loved making up new things to fall out of the sky!

Carrot Hot-dog – genius!!

i make the kids carrot dogs — not sure if this would help limit the cravings (theyre not the same but if the kids just like em for th bun/toppings – it works great! cut carrots to bun size, steam first to easy pierce w/ fork, then cook how you would hot dog (grill/etc).

My guy likes the idea of hot dogs more than the reality. We mostly eat Morningstar Farms veggie corn dogs (yum!). Our hot dog journey was inspired by "The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog" by Mo Willems, which you and your son might enjoy.
