What a great idea. My sons love it when I get out my sewing machine, but this sounds like even more fun for them than what I usually end up doing… (something without a good plan, invariably).

My daughter slept with her ‘underpants’ the night that we did this craft. I kid you not. She’s sleeping with a birthday card right now…

What a cute idea! I’ll definitely have to use this with my daughter – she loves to “help” me when I’m crocheting, sewing, scrapbooking, etc. What a neat way to let her create her “own” clothes!

Wow -this is just perfect for me as I’ve been looking for a sewing craft to do with my kids having been inspired by Halibut Jackson (by David Lucas) – we’ll be posting about Halibut Jackson next week so I’ll let you know how we get on with this activity
