You are right – it’s open-ended art at its best. Your son did awesome. I am committed to have all the projects as open-ended as possible this year, because my daughter goes to preschool three times a week and has enough of structured art there.

One of my favorite things – providing some basic resources and letting kids follow their ideas wherever they lead. “Free Art” is the best!

I do the same I keep pictures of everything ( blogging makes that easy) and then make photo books of them! Then he can look through them and see all he’s made but my house isn’t knee deep in crafts.

Hi,
I’m wondering… where do you display all of your son’s art creations. I take photos of my son’s creations before putting them away, but I’m wondering how everyone else does it.
