They said Go Canada and Go USA with the flag of the country. The smallest one made a sign that really meant nothing but we still used it like it said something. The spirit is the important thing not the fact that she can't spell! We made a sign for Canada because I am Canadian and am cheering for Canada. We also made a sign for the USA because the kids live in the US and I am also an American citizen. When we were watching a competition and an American or a Canadian showed up. We held up the signs and cheered. Basically I took your idea and ran with it (no pun intended!). We used paper that we rolled into a cylinder and stuffed it with tissue paper and drew the rings on the side. They are racing around with them as I type this. One little guy just got back from watching an Olympic hockey game this weekend so he is especially excited with his.
