The Big Red Barn is Grace's absolute favorite, most worn book. I think we read it ten times a day for her first two years. She has always loved the animals and the story. What a coincidence! I am planning my son's farm-themed 2nd birthday and was trying to come up with a craft. I knew you'd have a ton of ideas, so I came straight over, but didn't think there would be a bunch right on the front page! I especially love the corn project. My son was adverse to feathers for the longest time. Try white tissue paper instead !

Oh, this is very neat. I just happened to be sitting next to construction paper, so we tried making the sheep. Remmy, however, decided that she's scared of cotton balls - ha! I'll bookmark this for the future. We live near a farm, so we'll incorporate these crafts next time we go there.
