Music is a big part of our family from rocking out to Lady Gaga ( hey don’t judge me it calms my newborn!) to singing in church there is never a day that goes by without some music. Much of this comes from going to music class with my son from infancy where he got to explore singing, dancing and instruments. Here are some of our favorite musical instrument kids crafts .

Guitar

Drum

Flutes

Banjo

Tambourine

No judging on Lady Gaga, my 3 year old can’t stop singing parts of Bad Romance. It’s so cute!

Hey, whatever works. My one year old will stop crying if I put on either Justin Moore’s “Backwoods” and that “Hillbilly Bone” song. We joke that he’s a future redneck, but then again we’re somewhat country already.

When I was a baby I would fall asleep to Metallica. lol

  • I’ll have to try out the drum! My two year old has a half-sized guitar (Daddy’s a musician) and loves to play it. I’ll have to dig out an oatmeal box and make her a drum. Thanks! :)

My daughter calms down to Stevie Ray Vaughan and has since she was brand new. ;-)

  • We LOVE music at our house. My husband and I are both convinced that Jenny is going to be a musician – she loves to sing, dance, and play any instrument she can get her hands on. I’ll look forward to trying out some of these crafts with her this year – I think we’ll do a unit or two on music!
