This activity was such a hit with my guys. Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my brainstorms with your readers. It has been a fantastic year.
We did this a couple summers ago – only we used old paint brushes.

The red did stain the vinyl siding a bit (he was painting the house). But it’s almost completely gone 2yrs later. Haven’t tried the shaving cream tip to remove it; that should get it out
Can’t wait to try this next year with balls – great idea!
