Do you have a favorite?

Thank you so much for these lists. They’re great! We’re in the process of putting our own alphabet book together so there will be plenty of food for thought here. Thanks again:)
We like ‘Alphabet Adventure’ and the following books, ‘Alphabet Rescue’ and ‘Alphabet Mystery’ by Audrey Wood and Bruce Wood around here. The little letters work as a team to solve problems with tools that begin with their letter. They are fun stories and the pictures are delightful.
‘A You’re Adorable’ is an illustrated version (by Martha Alexander) of the old Buddy Kaye song that we love to read and sing together.
Finally, and I believe this is on your list – ‘A Was Once an Apple Pie’.
We have been reading all of these for years and no one seems to be growing tired of them, even those of us who have mastered the alphabet and reading. (And this comes from a Mom and Dad who have been known to ‘hide’ books so the kids can’t find them because WE are sick of reading them over and over and over…
Thanks again for these lists!
We love B is for Bulldozer: A Construction ABC
This is a great list! Thanks so much for a wonderful resource.
Our favorite will always be Dr.Sesss’s ABC book.

You missed my favorite — Q is for Duck! It was my favorite as a first grader, and I still love reading it to kids and having them guess the riddles. (Q is for duck because a duck quacks!)
I just discovered “LMNOPeas” by Keith Baker- it is my new fav alphabet book
a fabulous book – love reading it with a small group of kids
sandi´s last [type] ..March lions and lambs
We love LMNO Peas too!
For Kindergarten on up, “Q is for Duck” byMary Elting & Michael Folsom and “Tomorrow’s Alphabet” by George Shannon are two alphabet books that will make them think. I use them with 1st and 2nd grader students. After reading them, they want to make their own books.
This is just the post I needed today! I’ve been looking for some good alphabet books to introduce my son to the sounds of the alphabet! Thanks!
Jodi Pollack (Monkey Toes Montessori)´s last [type] ..Making Patterns!
You must must check out “Super Hero ABC” by Bob McCleod. Have yet to meet a kid (even up to 3rd grade) who didn’t love it.
This was the book that I was going to suggest for the list. My kindergarten students love it (literally) to pieces.

I love A, My Name is Alice!
JDaniel4′s Mom´s last [type] ..Read.Explore.Learn.- Celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with Fox in Sox
