Don’t worry I am not trying to dive into 2014! I want to share some of our favorite New Years crafts so when the rush of Christmas is over but the kids aren’t back to their regular routines yet you still have something fun to make with all the left over glitter from Christmas crafts! I love New Years because it’s a great time to talk to children about change. Change as you likely know is hard for kids who crave the security of routines and predictability so finding a time when they aren’t going through a major change to bring it up is always good. New Years does that for us. We look back, notice changes then make goals and predictions for the year ahead. Here are some great crafts that can spark that discussion for your family as well as a bunch of firework crafts because when I mentioned New Years both my kids mentioned fireworks.
New Years Memory Game
Confetti Pop Fireworks
Every Year I Get Bigger – Photo Book.
New Years Wishing Tree
Shaving Cream Fireworks

Hi, the link for the every year I get bigger photo book doesn’t work. Is there a different link for the craft?

Good catch I linked it to a pin on a secret pin board – oops. It’s all fixed and working now!
