Water Activities
Here are your activities for the week. Click on the titles if you need more detailed instructions!
Monday
AM: Sidewalk Chalk & Spray Bottles – Use spray bottles and sidewalk chalk together to learn letters, numbers, and shapes!
PM: Color Mixing with Water – You can use food color or if you have liquid watercolors those work great too!
Tuesday
AM: Magic Letters – are fun for kids just starting to show interest in letters. For true beginners, I love just doing their first initial!
PM: Backyard Car Wash – I can not stress enough how simple and fun this activity is. It is also functional, clean those toys!
Wednesday
AM: Water Table – You don’t need an expensive water table, I will show you how to make one for less than ten bucks, the important thing is to play!
PM: Free Anna From The Ice – you can use Spiderman, Han Solo, a My Little Pony… whatever works at your house!
Thursday
AM:Mud Soup – What happens when you add dirt and other garden bits to water? Be ready for a messy but very very happy child.
PM: Bubble Bin – After playing with mud in the morning, it’s time to play with something cleaner… whisk up some bubbles with this!
Friday
AM: Ocean in A Tub – Explore water and animals that live in it with this simple sensory play.
PM: Sink & Float – a classic preschool experiment and so so much fun!
