Window clings are fun and easy “keep them busy” activity for kids home from school for Thanksgiving break. Elmer’s asked me to partner with them and share a fun idea for Thanksgiving using their glue; this was the first thing to jump to mind. Window clings are easy to make, and you don’t need to be crafty to have fun with this project. This is the perfect project to do while parents are cooking, visiting, or doing that last minute clean before guests arrive.
You will need some Elmer’s School Glue, Elmer’s Glitter Glue Pens, our Thanksgiving designs printable and a plastic sheet cover. I also like using washi tape to hold everything together.
Print out the design page and tape it to a cutting board. Download it here.
Pop the plastic sheet protector on top and secure it with more washi tape.
Time for the glitter glue. Trace the designs with the glitter glue color of your choice.
Fill in with Elmer’s School Glue.
Let dry about 24 hours – and enjoy!
Don’t forget you do not need any designs if your child just wants to make their own, more power to them!
