If you are new to Link & Learn it’s a weekly linky that invites YOU to link up kids’ crafts, activities and anything else that is useful for parents, teachers and caregivers.

Kids Crafts & Early Learning Activities {Add Yours!}

Link up! Add a link to something fantastic you did this week with your kids or class. Last week we were packed with Halloween crafts and games and I can guarantee that teachers and parents are scrambling for the right activities for their Halloween parties this week.

POSTPONED . Due to the storm that is expected to hit the east coast the Twitter event below has been postponed. I will let you know when it gets rescheduled.

Also I wanted to invite you to an important Twitter event that I have been asked to participate in . Teach Mama aka Amy Mascott is hosting a Twitter event with the National Center for Learning Disabilities  this Monday evening from 9-10 pm EST.  The goal is to bring together experts in the field of learning disabilities to answer your questions, resources and important information about learning disabilities and dyslexia in particular. I think this is such an important opportunity for parents of young children to get informed and be prepared to better recognize a LD in their own kids.

I will be there sharing my own story and struggles with learning as well as how it’s fueled my passion for teaching.

Find out more here.

Kids Crafts, Activities and More! { Add Your Post}

kids crafts

Last night after the kids went to bed I put on my cow print PJ pants and pinned all the posts from last week’s Link & Learn that grabbed my attention. I have to say that while Pinterest is packed with good ideas Link & Learn every week is filled with even better ones.  So many fun Halloween crafts and games . I also noticed that so many of you are doing great early literacy and math games for kids. Our kids need a good base for both these subjects and with awesome playful learning ideas it makes it so much easier for parents and teacher to teach important topics.

Thank you!

If you are new welcome! Link up a great post and check out any that grab your attention.
