Posts Tagged ‘Blog Spotlight’

I know I say it almost every week but I am truly amazed by the creativity out there. If you have never participated in our weekly blog link up make this one your first. All you have to do is choose which of your completely rad posts you want to share. Next add a direct link to it (the post permalink- not your main url) and then check out some of the other links. I promise you you will learn something new. I can’t wait to check out these links!

It’s been a huge week here ( our house is officially on the market) and I have been looking forward to chilling out with this list and seeing all your fantastic posts.  If you are new here , welcome and please add your link! Our only rule is it’s your very best post of the week.

Also in case you missed our two book related announcements we have a FREE Spring Crafts & Activities eBook and a great new feature : Parenting Book Club.

Have a wonderful week!

I hope this blog isn’t a new one for you , the writer Katy is a well loved contributing writer here at No Time For Flash Cards, but I am spotlighting her because her awesome blog has a whole new look ( and url too!) .  Katy writes about daily life, motherhood and education.  More specifically  though she writes about the unique experiences of mothering and teaching  her son who has special needs. Do not miss her thematic units. She is frank , she is funny and she is authentic. More than one of her posts has made me laugh while tearing up too.  What more could you ask for? Check it out .

This week is World Breastfeeding Week so it’s perfectly fitting that I spotlight Best For Babes a wonderful resource , support and advocacy for nursing moms and babies. I love their attitude , their focus on “Booby traps” , the barriers to breastfeeding success so many women face and they have an awesome facebook page and community. I’m keeping it short today as I am typing one handed due to very appropriately nursing my daughter. Go check them out!

When you are a blogger you find other bloggers in your community a myriad of ways.  I found Valerie because for a while now our crafts  have been linked by similar sites ( Crafty Crow, One Pretty Thing) . I love what she does, and more importantly how she does it , with class and obvious enjoyment. Her blog Frugal Family Fun Blog is packed to the gills with fun activities, crafts for kids and parents and tips on how to keep it all within a budget! I was lucky enough to have her guest post here earlier this month and know all my readers loved it!  If by chance you haven’t checked her out yet, you need to!
