They LOVE it. And, so do I.

We also have pajama day in our little school on Valentine’s day. Staying in our jammies, reading books, and eating chocolate chip pancakes.

We started off with Valentine presents (books from Hallmark that I recorded for them–big hits!) and heart shaped waffles for breakfast and then, sadly, we had to take big sister to school.

Now we’re about to do a Valentine craft (making a heart lei necklace) and making round three of Valentines for his preschool teachers. Then it will be reading more Valentine books before we eat our heart sandwiches for lunch.

After lunch we’ll go to school and help with big sisters Valentine party! Then dance lessons and dinner–breakfast for dinner! Heart pancakes, scrambled eggs inside heart shaped biscuits, and all sorts of Valentine loveliness.

We visit a friend on Mondays, so we aren’t doing heart-shaped pizzas this year. But we are spending the day doing heart-themed crafts – PlayDoh with heart-shaped cookie cutters and heart foamie stickers so far.
