My theory with my daughter has been I don’t mind girlie fashion and looking pretty… but I do mind the “princess” attitude. This reminds me though of an article I recently read about how to talk to girls… which we are all guilty of I think, and could be attributing to this phenomenon as well.

I don’t have a little girl (yet), but I think I’ll check this book out anyway – it looks like a very interesting read.
