Klutz books/kits are wonderful!!! I’ve used them when I wanted to just find out basics about a craft and experiment before going full-on into further levels of the same craft…can’t beat them for kids or for beginner aduts…

I loved quilling when I was in 6-7th grade. What fun!im happy to seeing its making a resurgence. My sister was telling me about this cool art project she was doing where she was curling thin strips of paper to and then using the twirled paper to make pictures for her Senior project in College. I said “Oh, I love quilling.” She’d never heard of it and I busted her bubble because she thought it was very “out there” … Sorry.

This reminds me that I used to love to make twirled paper shapes (I called it “quilling”) to decorate packages before I had kids. I still have my supplies. Maybe I should bring them out…
