I don’t want to jinx it, but we have been outside in the sun daily for a week! In honor of our re-connection with nature, I thought I would round up some of our favorite nature activities for kids in one handy place. The earth gives us some of the most amazing tools to use as we learn and create with our children. These are some of our favorite spring and summer activities for preschoolers that keep us outside and enjoying the wonders of nature. I hope that no matter where you live, that mother nature lets you get outside to explore these nature activities for kids soon!

Mine too – we have re-done each of these projects over and over. The back yard safari pictures are used all year long to compare how the yard changes.

Gina,
These are great activities to excite kids about nature. Here is one more. Have the kids grow a TickleMe Plant. It’s the only plant that will close its leaves when tickled. I found kits to grow them online.
