In reply to Beth. Beth, I would start by check out out Learning After School section. Finding areas that your son needs to work on and adapting those activities to his interests. What area is he needing the most work with?

Hi, I found your site through Facebook and I really like it. So here is my thing. I have a 6 1/2 year old boy, and I really want to work with him this summer so he can go into 2nd grade. We had a really hard time this year with his school and teacher and they want to hold him back. So, he is changing to a much better school, but I’m hoping to be able to work with him enough that he will like learning much more and be able to go ahead. Next, I “may” be babysitting two more boys, a 3 and 5 year old. I need help planning out stuff that we can all do, to try to convince their Dad that they will have fun here. Anyways, any help or suggestions would be so awesome.
