You are exactly right - this is a 3-year-old post and the terms were less clear back then, I should have come to edit it when I was aware of the correct terms. I am very glad you commented so I could edit. Thanks for the book rec too, my 4th annual LGBTQ positive book list will be released soon and I need new titles.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Bunnybear by Andrea J. Loney is a great book to introduce the concept of non-binary gender identity and trans identity to kids in terms even a three year old can understand. It also has adorable illustrations by Carmen Saldan~a. 

Also, I wanted to mention that, in many transgender and gender-diverse communities, the term &quot;transgendered&quot; ruffles feathers. The -ed ending implies that being transgender is a thing that is done (a verb) rather than an adjective (like Black, or young, or red-haired).
