We’re planning to read & do the activities in “Seeds! Seeds! Seeds!” by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace. This book opens with a March calendar & describes March as “almost Spring,” a perfect description of March in much of North America. The projects are seed related, but can be done when snow falling–it’s especially perfect if you are the ambitious type of gardener who starts seeds indoors for later transplanting (or did before you had kids) and you want to share that passion with a child. The projects are pretty basic though, so don’t be scared off if you *aren’t* an avid gardener.
