This easy Mother’s Day craft doesn’t have to be only for moms. It can be for dads, postal workers, healthcare workers, your neighbor, or friend. I wanted to share something that was simple enough for anyone to make but easy enough to send in the mail too! Special days like birthdays and Mother’s Day can be tough for a lot of people, and being separated makes it that much harder. I hope this Mother’s Day craft can be used in a way that works best for your family and brightens someone’s day. If you want to watch me make this live on Facebook, click here for the video.
Preschool Mother’s Day Craft
Gather your materials. You will need one sheet of construction paper, one sheet of plain white paper, paint, some kitchen utensils like potato masters and dish scrubbers, or any other paint too you have on hand, glue, and scissors.
Start by folding your construction paper lengthwise and cutting out a heart along the folded side. It should make a frame. Set aside.
Now it’s time to paint!
I love the prints these tools make.
Add glue around the edge of the paper.
Put the frame on.
Let dry.
Check out what I did with the middle heart in the video here.
