Teresa – young children show bias in preschool and that is what anti-racist and anti-boas teaching aim to help stop. Racism is taught but talking about it and learning to recognize it and stop it does not perpetuate it. Ignoring it does.

They may notice the color of another child’s skin because it’s obvious. I believe drawing attention to it is what causes racism. Kids notice that people are different and will always meet people that are different and we should teach that God created everyone uniquely and differently and we should love everyone for who they are. Stop the racism
