Summer reading is essential, but it can be hard to keep it going on busy summer days. We all need a little help, especially when all we want to do in the summer is sleep in. That is why I started creating summer reading free printables every year. The goal of these summer reading printables is to encourage families to read all summer long without too much pressure. If this still feels too daunting for you or your students, download our summer reading bucket list instead.
Teachers – feel free to link or print these for your classes!

New for 2023 – the prompts are now linked to book lists! We’ve linked our favorite book list for each prompt in the calendars this year – so be sure to save the pdf and click through if you need suggestions! It’s so easy to find books to keep your little ones interested in books and reading all summer long!
