I love the apple tree idea! It always amazing me how you can simply put the same activity in a new format and kiddies think it is something completely new! Where did you get your apples? I’d love to do this with my little people. We have an apple day every fall.
I just cut them from paper and yes there is no need to reinvent the wheel!
