Link up! Add a link to something fantastic you did this week with your kids or class. Last week we were packed with Halloween crafts and games and I can guarantee that teachers and parents are scrambling for the right activities for their Halloween parties this week.

POSTPONED . Due to the storm that is expected to hit the east coast the Twitter event below has been postponed. I will let you know when it gets rescheduled.

Also I wanted to invite you to an important Twitter event that I have been asked to participate in . Teach Mama aka Amy Mascott is hosting a Twitter event with the National Center for Learning Disabilities  this Monday evening from 9-10 pm EST.  The goal is to bring together experts in the field of learning disabilities to answer your questions, resources and important information about learning disabilities and dyslexia in particular. I think this is such an important opportunity for parents of young children to get informed and be prepared to better recognize a LD in their own kids.

I will be there sharing my own story and struggles with learning as well as how it’s fueled my passion for teaching.

Find out more here.
