Free Art Friday !!

Free Art!

I always try to give my son opportunities to just create, at his age that usually includes markers , crayons or paint and paper. That’s it. It may look like we are always doing big mommy directed things but most of our days look like this. Most of the marker came off with a wash cloth the rest will be scrubbed off in the bath , I can’t wait because we have an
Ice Berg
freezing right now!

~Here is another fun free art project for your weekend~

We stuck a dolphin in it, he kept asking to drink the dolphin because I put it in a Take n’ Toss to freeze.

    I’ll update you after bath!

Lyndsay – he had so much fun, omg I am freezing more tomorrow! How simple could it be? He was engrossed by the temperature difference and how it kept melting.

    Awesome !!

Erin- oh my goodness he asks for “markers?” all day long. This is the result- what we really did was draw pictures for his grandparents in Texas, his self decoration was just an added bonus!

YEY!! So glad to hear he loved it. It’s funny how the simplest things can get the biggest results.

Today I am going to try and do a special letter of the week as inspired by you!! 🙂

Cute photo – looks almost like Esme!

I appreciated your comment about mommy-directed art. People often wonder where I get the time to do so much with my 19-mo-old baby each week, but it really isn’t much time – I’ll spend 5-10 minutes on a project before leaving her to do her own art thing, since that’s as long as her attention holds.
