The 4th of July is a perfect excuse to make something extra special with your 2 or 3-year-old. I teach this age group and while I don’t teach preschool in the summer I do like getting crafty with my own kids and using the time together to talk about the holiday and what it means. Crafts aren’t about replicating the exact same thing to me they are much more about being together and creating while connecting. Here are some great crafts that I would do with my students IF I had school over the summer, they are the best fourth of July crafts for toddlers!
Red White & Blue Star Cookie Cutter Prints
Uncle Sam Puppet – a craft you can play with is always tops on my list!
Fireworks Playdough from Fantastic Fun and Learning
Shaving Cream & Paint Fireworks
