Spring has hit my preschool class with a bang and we are wiggly and need some new activities to keep our preschoolers engaged in lessons and routines. One of my favorite ways to do this is with simple but thematic spring songs for preschool. These spring songs for preschoolers are great. Today I sang one of my favorite frog songs and circle time went from scattered to engaged in an instant. Then we could focus on learning more about frog life cycles again.Â
What’s inside?Â
Simple spring songs for preschoolers that match classic tunes! Inside you will find songs about fairies, dinosaurs, pets, gardens, bugs, and more! These printables, perfect for putting up in your class so you don’t ever forget the lyrics to these spring fingerplays. The songs are all put to classic tunes like Row Row Row Your Boat and 5 Little Ducks, so don’t worry about not knowing them.
Ok, I’d love to go into why songs are so effective for oral language and early literacy development but it’s almost the end of the school year at preschool and I am busy preparing to speak at a number of summer conferences! I hope these freebies help you in this homestretch of the year!
