Lego Learning Activities
Here are your activities for the week. Click on the titles if you need more detailed instructions!
AM – Build Your Name
This is a great way to kick off the week with some fun and can be done with either LEGO or Duplo style blocks. Use a dry erase marker to easily wipe off letters when you’re done playing.
PM – Duplo Rhyming Game
You can customize this game based on what stickers you have on hand. You can always check the dollar store for some cheap options, too!
This activity is a great way to sneakily organize the LEGO collection while getting some color and counting practice in.
With your blocks all color sorted from the morning, it’s time to customize some of your bricks and build some new creations!
This game is so much fun! You can even mix it up and use two different colored dice, one for the section and one for the number of bricks to pull.
PM – LEGO Print Painting
While this is shown as a Christmas wrapping paper activity, it is just as much fun with some construction paper any time of the year!
AM – LEGO Duplo Math Game
I love this game for number recognition fun! Plus, it’s easy to customize for more advanced learners with more numbers and adding two dice together.
Sort out two sets of bricks and make some fun creations to challenge your kiddos!
AM – LEGO Measurement
You can do this simple activity with regular bricks or DUPLO. If you have enough, see how many LEGOs tall your kiddo is!
Finish up the week with a fun outdoor scavenger hunt…or move it indoors if it’s raining!
