Monday

AM: Star Color Matching

We used star buttons but you can use foam stars or even paper ones for this activity.

PM: Puffy Paint Moon

This moon craft became a room decoration for my son that lasted years, and a move to a new town. The process of making it was the fun part though!

Tuesday

AM: Toilet Roll Rocket

This craft will become a toy as soon as the glue is dry which is exactly what you want. Crafts are fun to make but their real power comes when they spark imagination as well.

PM: Letter Constellations

This simple activity helps to teach about constellations and letter recognition!

Wednesday

AM: Alien Headband

This alien headband will inspire awesome pretend play!

PM: Space Playdough

This was a huge hit and ended up being taken to many soccer games as a sideline activity for younger siblings. Pretend play meets fine motor and language development when you put it all together!

Thursday

AM: Pie Plate UFO

This is a fun and creative activity that let’s children create their own UFO with simple and frugal materials.

PM: Puffy Paint Earth

This activity helps children think about what Earth looks like from space while exploring with fun textures. Also, it uses the same materials as the Puffy Paint Moon so you don’t have to spend too much on supplies.

Friday

AM: Alien Math Tray

These free printables can be used with little alien figurines or you can use playdough to make your own.

PM: Starry Sky Paintings

This art activity builds on the knowledge of constellations from earlier in the week and gives your children a chance to create something special.
