Letter of The Week !

Our letter activities have been big hits all year long, and for those of you who missed them during the holidays, they will be back next week!

Also you may notice by looking at the dates I posted each letter that I didn’t do them in the same order as the alphabet, that was intentional. I introduced them to my son as he showed interest in something that I could bridge them to, I wanted them to be taught in context and have meaning to him so that he retained that knowledge . So don’t feel that you need to follow the alphabet or my rotation, follow your child!

    these were my favorite! I went in ABC order for two reasons, first so I wouldn’t forget what I’d done, but also because Lorelei knows the alphabet so I thought it would be a good way to reinforce it.
    We took the holidays off because she was starting to loose interest, but we’ll be starting back up with letter “I” next week!
