Powerpuff Girls – Printable Kindness Journal

Kindness is Powerful. Kindness, teamwork, and rad superpowers save the day! The Powerpuff Girls are now exclusively on Hulu. Download this free Kindness Journal to track how you can save the day with kindness too! #ad #PowerpuffonHulu

This post is in partnership with Hulu.

Do you remember The Powerpuff Girls? Me too!  You can imagine that when I was asked if I was interested in creating a post and activity celebrating the fact that Hulu is the only place to find the full classic animated series, I said yes. I loved the girl power that Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup brought to my home years ago and I am super excited to share them with my kids.  If you aren’t familiar with The Powerpuff Girls check out this trailer:

As a teacher and even more so as a mom I am trying to focus on kindness more and more because kindness is powerful. The Powerpuff Girls are brave superheroes who work together using their super powers as well as teamwork and friendship to conquer evil and save the day. I don’t think there is anything kinder than standing up for others and that is what this show is all about, with a little lowbrow humor thrown in for good measure.  With that in mind, I created this free printable kindness journal. Not only will your child be focusing more on the kindness they share with others but also the kindness they witness. Here is how you use it!

Find a good time every day to reflect. For my kids, it’s before bed after teeth are brushed and PJs are put on but maybe for your family, it’s in the morning or even immediately after school. It doesn’t matter when, just that your child has a few minutes to think back on the kindness they saw, shared, and felt that day.

Have your child write about it in their journal. There is space to draw a picture too.

If the day was a rough one and your child feels like there was no kindness at all, do not press them to find something, instead, have them write about that. Sharing a bad day is just as important. Seeing what happens when it feels like there was no kindness is a great but hopefully rare lesson.

When you need more pages, just come print them out here!

This is so much fun! My daughter loves the Powerpuff girls. Hard to believe they’re still popular after all these years.

I love this idea!! We think the powerpuff girls are adorable. On days where it’s hard to pick out a kind act, it may be that some self-kindness is in order. I know that the days I’ve not been very kind are the ones that I’m hardest on myself. 🙂
