Teach Independence with Free Printable Packing Lists for Kids and Tea Collection Discount Code

tea collection discount code free printables
We are traveling right now if you want to you can check out my Instagram account for highlights of our trip. Before we left one of the things I wanted to do was encourage my kids to take more ownership of this trip and be more independent. We travel a good bit and usually, it’s me packing when we leave and my husband packing when we head home. I am the one that gathers everything, and I felt like for this trip it was time to change that.

This post contains affiliate links.

customizable packing list for kids pink

I made these super simple free printable packing lists.

packing lists free printable for kid

After you print them out, you write in the item, how many your children need to pack and let them loose!

customizable packing list for kids yellow (2)

I made them in 5 colors so siblings could have a different color. If you have more than five kiddos, there is lots of space to write names too.

I loved that this gave my 6-year-old so much independence and it’s a little math practice too.

She was super excited to pack her new Tea Collection clothing the company sent us for the trip. As a Tea Ambassador, I get a chance to check out the newest styles as well as share exclusive Tea Collection discount code with my readers. Do not miss the sweepstakes or the exclusive limited time discount code below.

When they packed their clothing, they checked the packed box. One less thing for me to do in the busy days before our big trip.

These lists aren’t just great for big trips; they are great for any time you have more than you normally have to pack. Soccer tournaments, ballet recitals, heck even science fair. Feel free to print off as many as you need.

These lists are great! Thank you! As a family we go camping frequently and I feel like I’m always sending my big kid off to gather clothing and toiletries for the trip. I’ll give her a list next time. I would love to take them to see the Redwood Forest and the Grand Canyon.

Love these lists! We’re a homeschooling family with three little girls that travels atleast once a month for a week or more at a time. We love traveling all over the United States but our favorite trips are to Europe. Our next big European adventure is in September for 3 months and we’ll be traveling to the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

I get to travel much of the United States as a member of the Teaching Strategies Professional Development Network.

One summer a few years back, we were all able to pile on the car and take an epic road trip. My husband took care of the kiddos while I trained EC professionals during the day. We hit much of the east coast, NOLA, Texas, Tennessee and West Virginia on that trip.

I’d love to be able to do a trip similar to that out west! I’d especially love to take my kiddos to the Grand Canyon!
