Time flies and it’s that time of year again! These are our Mother’s Day Crafts from years past, we are busily thinking up new creative activities to celebrate moms. Feel free to print out or email this to your significant other too , as a gentle reminder that homemade gifts really are that special!

Don’t forget to make your own wrapping paper too! We have two fun ways to do that:

The family garden is adorable. On another blog- can’t remember which one
– anyways, I saw a plant with photos on sticks in it that looked adorable, too.

Out of all the crafts on here, of course my pre-schooler would go beserk over the fly swatter painting! How in the world do you keep that in check??

If you notice we were outside
Also using craft paper will help because it’s thick so even if they swat hard with lots of paint it shouldn’t rip. If you are worried about going off paper I would set a few ground rules, and make a border with tape – explain that they can only swat in the tape, or the swatter goes away. Also you can try giving him numbers – like swat it 5 times, get more paint, then swat it 3 times… keep going . It will keep him more focused if you are worried about it unleashing his destructive side.
Overall I think you will be surprised by how focused he’ll be… I hope.
These are adorable!
And what a lovely model in that necklace!

I added that in to remind myself of how I used to look
Love these!
I love the ring – I am going to make my kids make a couple for me – o maybe a set – with a necklace
As always fantastic ideas. I am going to forward this post to my hubby. Any of these would be fabulous ideas for a gift for me.
I think we’ll work on one for Grandma too!
