Here are your activities for the week. Click on the titles if you need more detailed instructions!
AM: Lego Challenge – this is a simple Lego challenge but you can adjust it to any level. All you really need are enough bricks to make a duplicate of each structure.
PM: Nerf Gun Math – Math is fun, but it’s more fun outside with Nerf Guns. You can so this with any projectile is guns aren’t your thing.
AM: Egg Drop – this is a classic engineering activity and if you are really squeamish about raw eggs, just use hard boiled ones!
PM: Number Line – this is a great gross motor math activity and you can adjust it to any level.
AM: Mad Scientist Lab – Pretend play is a must even during STEM week. Use all sorts of things to make this rad lab!
PM: S’mores Engineering – build at whatever level you are at with this fun edible activity!
AM: Build with Letters – Create towers that spell something with this easy letter activity.
PM: Wrecking Ball Science – Learn a few of the basic concepts of physics like force and inertia with this great idea.
AM: Marshmallow Shoot & Measure – create a marshmallow shooter and then put it to work!
PM: Mining for Magnets – This simple activity is fun for the little guys and if you don’t have magnets, try magnetic items and just use a magnet wand.
