Name Spell & Clip – so easy and it works on so many skills. Find more name activities here!

Roll & Bead – this is a staple in my classroom! Not only can children work on counting and subitizing, but they can also develop their fine motor skills and patterning skills. Find more subitizing ideas here!

Tally Race! This game is entertaining to play, and you can enjoy it as a whole group, as I explain in this post, or adapt it for use in a small group. Not only are students working on letter recognition, but they are also developing skills in counting, comparing amounts, and subitizing.
