For many parts of the country, it is too hot to go outside right now. Parents and caregivers alike are looking at the clock thinking what now? It’s only 9 am! You don’t have to turn on the TV ( though I am not going to judge you if you do). However, for many preschools, daycares, and summer camps screen time is never an option. I decided to round up 45 of our favorite indoor activities for kids. These aren’t lessons; if you are looking for lesson plans, I have a bunch here. These are fun indoor summer activities that you don’t need a screen for, and you don’t have to be outside to do.
Hopefully, these indoor activities for kids help keep those screens off and more importantly your sanity.
Stay cool and remember even if you aren’t in the middle of a heatwave you can have fun inside with these activities this summer.
