Need some educational Easter activities for preschoolers? I have a bunch for you, and I’d like to invite you to come craft with me LIVE tomorrow at 8 am PDT/ 11 EDT on Facebook. We will be talking about shapes, I’ll do the rhyming fingerplay below, and of course, we will be making some Easter crafts too. If you celebrate Easter, using it as a fun theme for learning is a great way to engage your child in an activity that might not be as fun without the Easter theme. With that in mind, I have created a long list of great educational Easter activities for preschoolers.
Easter Letter Match
This letter match activity can be done with any egg tray, and if you don’t have one at home, you can easily use an egg carton! If your child isn’t ready to match upper and lowercase letters, try just one case. If they are new to letters, start with the letters in their name!
Easter Egg Crafts For Preschool
Q-Tip Painted Easter Eggs – click here for the tutorial for this great fine motor art activity.
Opposite Texture Easter Eggs – this craft has a sensory element to it and allows children to touch and take note of how the different materials feel.
Watch the video of me making another Easter Egg collage here ( will add after LIVE broadcast)Â
Easter Fingerplay

Easter Math Count & Clip Cards
This printable is from my FREE Easter Pack, but you can download just these clip cards here –> Count & Clip CardsÂ
The idea behind these manipulatives is to count the Easter-themed items and choose which digit is the correct amount. You can use clothespins to clip the number or button, coins, or pom poms.
Easter Sensory Activities
I love playdough because it is such an excellent material for fine motor development, but it’s also incredible for storytelling. Ask your child what they are making, talk about it, and create something with them. Talking together is the most natural literacy activity you have, so find activities that promote conversation.
