55 Indoor Activities for Kids at Home

Coronavirus has thrown us all into totally new routines. Maybe you are now suddenly homeschooling, trying to work from home while your toddler gets into everything, or just trying to stay calm during such an uncertain time. My state, like many, is under a government order to stay home, and while we can go for walks, even our parks are closing. We are stuck at home. Are you looking at the clock thinking what now? It’s only 9 am! You don’t have to hand your child a screen, though I am not going to judge you if you do.  I decided to round up 55 of our favorite indoor activities for kids stuck at home. These aren’t lessons; if you are looking for lesson plans, I have a bunch here. These are fun indoor activities for kids at home that you don’t need a screen for, and you don’t have to be outside to do.

Hopefully, these indoor activities for kids help you make this uncertain time more normal for your little ones. This is a crazy time. Stay home, stay healthy, and reach out to me if I can help you in any way.

Thank you so much for all these ideas! We need them so badly right now, with all the extra time the kids are at home. It’s been my mission to get them doing constructive things instead of just TV and Video games. It’s a battle, but being prepared with a great list like this will surely help. Thanks, Allison!
