In this list of 25 activities for toddlers in quarantine, you will find some super simple ideas, and you will find some pretty elaborate ones. I wanted to share both extremes because people need quick ideas to engage their little ones, as well as big projects to work on themselves. When my children (who you will see in all these posts) were toddlers prepping these projects helped me feel busy and made my long days at home with small children a little brighter. Life is weird right now, adults are stressed, friends and families are separated, and you may even be dealing with serious health issues. I hope this list of activities for toddlers gives you ideas to make your days in quarantine a little brighter. These activities are aimed at toddlers from 18-36 months, but older kids love them too!
Please note that these activities are intended to be done under close supervision with an adult at arm’s length at all times.

Reading is always a great activity for toddlers, for wiggly ones that won’t stay still try reading to them while they soak in the tub, are eating a meal, or snuggled up in bed before nap or at night. These two round ups are my favorite lists of board books.

Hello,
I came to your blog because of your great ideas for multicultural activities and the like. I would like to mention the book I saw on another of your book lists, Ten little Finger and Ten Little Toes. Not all babies are born with all of their limbs, fingers, or toes, so if children see someone without these body parts they are quite startled, stare and ask rude questions. Regardless of its racial inclusion in the illustrations, I do not believe this book belongs on any diversity lists
Thanks for being awesome,
Sarah

Sarah – thank you so much for bringing this up, I am so sorry for the delay in my response and approval, I have been incredibly busy with teaching this year. I really appreciate your comment, as I didn’t even consider that. Thank you.
