We live on an island and going to the beach is a pretty common outing for my kids, but learning all about the ocean is still exciting. The creatures, the sand, finding beach glass… it’s a new discovery every time we go. When we can’t go to the beach we can still explore it with fun at home activities. I have gathered our favorite ocean activities for kids in one spot for you to find some fun too! These ocean activities for kids are perfect for preschool and daycare classrooms too.

So many great ideas! Love the sand paper one, so simple but effective.

When my older kids were younger I did so many fun preschool activities with them. Now it’s such a struggle to sit down with my 3-year old (he’s number 4 of 5, in our family). He’s been frustrated lately by trying to do the same crafts as the big kids. I love that some of these would be so simple for him to do.
